After graduating from The College of William and Mary in 2001 with a B.S. in Environmental Geology Stephen went to work for an Ashland based multi-disciplinary Engineering and Design firm where he was involved in various aspects of construction materials testing and laboratory analysis of those materials; primarily concrete and soils. He then went on to work at one of Virginia’s largest locally owned general contractors where he honed his skills in project management working directly with owners and other contractors on projects ranging from $1Million to $35Million. He is also a current board of director’s member of the Virginia Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI). Because of his experience in multiple areas of the construction process Stephen is able to apply a unique interdisciplinary approach to concrete construction.
